Often I know
what my daughters have on their minds.
I know how to listen to them,
I guide, and I support them.
I am their best friend...
I am proud of their triumphs,
and when things go wrong,
I remain patient
and helpful and strong...
In all that they do,
My love will always be a part.
I know that whatever happens
there's always a place for me
deep in their heart.
And each year that passes,
I'm even more glad,
More grateful and proud
for them to call me... dad!
